松哥该说 Mandarin 或 Cantonese,而不是 Chinese.

前面松哥老婆差点被车撞那一幕，他说请以华文(华语)和我老婆道歉。而因该是 Mandarin 而不是 Chinese,因为 Chinese 指的是华人，华族。反而 Mandarin 指的是华文(华语)。

Hong Kong people, before 1990s, only think Chinese is Cantonese.
It was wrong but we only think and talk that way.

chinese 不一定是指华人也可以翻译成华文所以没有问题

i thought chinese is chinese, mandarin & catonese are dialect of chinese

What's wrong with the word "Chinese"? The word "Chinese" has multiple implications, just like any other words like "English" , "German" and "French"~~~ When you are in a place where majority of the public speaks Cantonese (which is a local dialect of Chinese), asking a person to "Speak Chinese" means you want that person to speak in that local dialect, i.e. Cantonese in this case!
