01. Clean the lotus root, pat dry excess water, cut into thin slices and set aside.) L' h6 z+ [4 _! \% r. v: e! U
02. Mix the tempura powder and water into a batter, then add the sliced lotus roots and mix well.: Q# J3 V" u1 L* F; W/ `: D
03. Preheat the oil, deep fry the sliced lotus roots on a medium flame until half cooked. Switch to strong flame and fry till* @* K. D* x9 _* N% r" g( D- e! ]; K
golden brown. Dish up, place on paper towels. Set aside.
