Most of the lenses by Canon and even Nikon are old, year 1990+
while Sony is modified from previous Konica Milnolta with improvements.
Sony is using CCD, the details is better than CMOS.
Canon good for Landscape
Sony good for general.
Nikon good for fast action.

Sony A900 full frame will be my next cam after compared with D700 and 5D Mark II.
