i5 and i7 basically same silicon with some features disabled in i5 version. same tactics played by intel so many years. Extra money put on better graphics card is more worthwhile than on CPU. If you are NOT playing any HDD-games, only online games, why not install linux, it is much more optimized than windows 8 or even future windows.
