basically for MU to win this match over Liverpool...the chance is around 80%...
lets compare then 3set of line up between Liverpool and MU..
although is play at anfield...MU and Liverpool is use to play with each other..so...home game advantages...not so significan..
now we see the manager..
Rafe is good is tactical, find weakness of the opponent team..but his bigger weakness is...he don trust his own player..tat y he keep on change his formation and starting line up...
Ferguson is different..camon..he is at MU for 22yr...no1 know how to place MU player more then him..
for the defensive line....
MU have the strongest defensive line...although LB(Brown) is just adequated for Neiville fulfillment...but if Brown in good form...he can be the best LB as well as attacking winger combination with C7. And Vidic, Rio and Evra...they are in top form now..no injuries and last UCL match vs Roma...they get rest...
compare to Liverpool defensive line, they played 2tough match in a week. 1st, they lost to Reading, Carragher is given out a penalty(although Rafa claim is shouldn't be a penalty)..but..for the 3rd goal from Reading..he seem losing his confident...ya, although they win 4-0 over Marseille...but u can see Carragher is not in top form also(get booked yellow card), it actually is a unnecessary booking...and he play with less pressure, why i said so? camon, if ur team score 2-0 in 11min...sure the pressure is less d...and the other def, Riise, the lose over Reading..he also get blamed..cos he not doin his defensive job well, instead he just keep pushing up for attacking...Hyypia is old D....and Hyppia strength is defensive over high cross...every MU fans know..nowaday, MU not playing the style while Beckham generation, cross ball to middle box...yet, MU is playing on more passing, short pass, overlapping run...Hyppia is too slow to catch R10, T32 and R7 even G11...they all is qiuck in Pace...and Finna is not quick in respon also...the defensive line...only can hope on Reina..
Midfield now...
MU Midfield, i think is G11, Carrick/Anderson, Hargarave C7..
Liverpool midfield will be Kewell, Mascherano, Gerrard and Benayoun.
For Evra to watch over Benayoun, i think should be ok...both also small in size, fast in running..
for Brown to watch over Kewell....even brown not in top form, i think also ok, for Kewell just back from injuries, not playing at his best yet...so, not really dangerous...
but for Finnan to watch G11, for Risse/Arbeloa to watch over C7...G11 n C7 is too tough for them lar...
for Anderson/Carrick/Hargarave to watch over Gerrard, i think Gerrard will be stopped, 1st, is Hargarave n Carrick n Gerrard is England team mate, they know each other game lar...if Anderson is started, of cos, tis is the 1st time Anderson play on Gerrard, but anderson is young, tackle like mad, he don care too much on getting card but more on try to show his quality...so, if he can stop Gerrard, then is good...for Masherano to stop Carrick or R10 or T32(cos they will be like usual, pull back to midfield to take the ball)...too tough for macherano..although he is the best DM..but, for him to mark R10 n T32 to pull back to midfield to take ball...he will give the chance to Carrick to do the long pass/cross...once the cross is down to left or Right wings to G11 or C7...both G11 and C7, they can attack well d, especially C7..he like to try himself...and he is in the scoring form d..
lets see now the attacking line up..
MU will not much changing...T32 and R10...either 1 of them will pull back to midfield to take ball and do the pass, one-two...or interchanging ball with each..once it get thru Masherano,Hyppia n Carragher...hahahahaha...then we have to see is T32 and R10 can shoot right or not..cos recently they keep missing chances lar...
Liverpool, i think Rafa will put Torres and Crouch...but Vidic n Rio is both good in clearing air cross...Crouch should have less chance..
and for Torres, yes, he is fast in pace, but i think MU will be notice, normally, Vidic position is a bit close to DM..mean further front then Rio, if Torres can pass Hargarave, Vidic also, Rio then will make the tackle...(they use to do tis)...
So...after comparing this...MU chance to win is higher lar...
Liverpool might have the home game advantages...cos their fans like to sing tat song "u never walk alone" to affecting da pyshco..
but the MU mindset and determination to win is high also...
once MU win this match...Arsenal's pressure will x 2....cos Arsenal cant be lose to Chealsea...if Arsenal lose, they will lost the leading position in the league...For Chelsea to win over this match, it for them to get closer to the MU, Arsenal...and for Grant to show his is the real successor of Jose...Grant just get renewed 4yr contract..and this is the real big match under he manageriel...ya, he lead da team to play MU before, but tat was the 1st match after Jose departing...so, it dosent mean anything...For Grant to show is managerial capability...this is the test he has to pass to said he is worth to be Jose successor... |
