【每日邮报】阿森纳青训主管鲍德说阿森纳有非常非常多优秀的英格兰球员 - 17 Nov 2007

阿森纳一直经常被指责队伍里缺少英格兰天才，在阿森纳一队里仅有沃尔科特和霍伊特两位英国人。



但是，枪手们的青年队里有一支非常壮大的本土球员团队，并且像在联赛杯有过表现的亨利.兰斯巴里等人都抱有很高的期望。

阿森纳青训学校教练斯蒂文.鲍德对俱乐部官方网说：“重要的是我们正在不断的吸收大量的优秀的小孩，很大的奖赏是他们中的很多人都是英格兰人，我不得不说他们是非常非常出色的球员。”

“我们还不能确定的知道他们将会走多远能取得多大的成就，但是我们拥有了大量优秀的英格兰球员。”

“对于俱乐部来说这太棒了，球迷们也希望看到他们的英格兰同伴加入到队伍中来，当然他们也想要看到优秀的球员，我们拥有了充足的这样的本土和外国年轻球员。”

Arsenal have often being criticised for a lack of English talent in their ranks, with Theo Walcott and Justin Hoyte the only regulars in Arsene Wenger's first-team squad.



However, the Gunners have a strong home-grown contingent in their youth set-up, and hopes are high for the likes of Henri Lansbury, who has featured in the Carling Cup.

Arsenal Academy coach Steve Bould told the club's website www.arsenal.com

"What's important is that we are getting a lot of good kids in and it is a big bonus that lots of them are English and I have to say that they are very, very good players.

"We certainly don't know how far they are going to get - but we have a lot of good English players. "That is great for the club and the fans want to see English lads in there, and they also want to see good players and we have plenty of those from home and abroad."
