He also said that the government has not yet even decided on a timetable for consultations on the topic. It’s against the backdrop of such apparent foot-dragging, and hints that universal suffrage in Hong Kong may be universal suffrage with “Chinese characteristics”, that a movement now named “Occupy Central With Love and Peace” has come about.
