故事簡介：
/ S# T( I" s7 o6 P' d故事發生在19世紀的法國。窮苦農民冉阿讓（Hugh Jackman飾）因偷麵包而入獄，監禁期間屢次無視法律，於是展開長達二十年的逃亡生涯，並受到鐵面警官賈維爾（Russell Crowe飾）鍥而不捨地追捕。期間遇上女工芳汀（Anne Hathaway飾），早被男友拋棄的芳汀為了自己和幼女柯賽特的生活，被迫出賣頭髮和身體，最後更積勞成疾去世，冉阿讓決定撫養柯賽特。
