在 Samsung Galaxy S22 / S21 / S20 / S10 四代旗艦連同衍生機型因跑分作弊而被 Geekbench 除名後，Geekbench 再以「遊戲優化服務」（GOS）涉嫌跑分作弊為由，將 Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 系列平板電腦從基準測試數據庫中刪除。

Android Police 將 Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 系列平板電腦對比了 GOS 開啟前後的性能基準數據。為了測試的真實性，Android Police 通過技術手段繞過了 GOS 的檢測，把 Geekbench 偽裝成了《原神》來進行對比運行測試。. e* k) r, I) |: e
經過測試，發現偽裝版的 Geekbench 單核得分要比標準版低 24%，其多核成績也低了 11% 。這種情況在上一代 Samsung 平板電腦中沒有出現。

對此情形，Geekbench 在轉載 Tweet 中向 Android Police 表示致謝，因為測試結果明確表示了 Galaxy Tab S8 與手機一樣，採用基於「應用身份識別」的性能保障策略，也就是「作弊」。

值得一提的是，Samsung 不是唯一一家通過類似 GOS 的方案來改善手機續航和性能表現的廠商。作為表現手機性能的 Geekbench 等基準測試軟件，不會允許類似的作弊行為影響跑分，造成不公平的排名。
