By getting rid of your bad luck, you just might get that promotion or test grade you've been aiming for! Frankly, I do not support the 打小人 idea or acts. It leads an unhappy or unsatisfied person to being more angry with all that aggressive and abusive languages. On top of that, it is only a superstitious tradition that has no proven statistics that it would worked or help with that ceremony.
