澳洲已故「鱷魚先生」歐文遺孀表示，丈夫在海中被魔鬼魚刺死的鏡頭，雖然全程被攝錄下來，但將永不公諸於世。歐文本月4日在澳洲昆士蘭海中，為電視節目Discovery拍攝紀錄片時，被一條魔鬼魚的尾鉤刺中胸部死亡。當時，歐文正在這魔鬼魚的上方游泳，他被刺中後，自己立刻把刺拔出來，但仍然很快去世。整個經過被電視攝影機拍攝下來，雖然很多人想看到實況，但歐文的妻子接美國ABC訪問表示，已決定永遠不同意播出這段殘忍的鏡頭 。她表示，自己也沒看過錄影，而且不忍心看。

I feel bad about Steve Irwin's sudden departure, too.  Wish his survivors will find peace as life goes on.

So to me, the morale of the story is...do not do anything in extreme.
