據美國商務部昨日的統計數字顯示，外國觀光客在美國平均消費為4000美元，而一個中國遊客來一次美國的平均消費為6200美元。 3 ]0 d  _+ S/ V  Q9 F& a) f

　　對美國旅遊業來說，中國無疑是增長最快、未來發展潛力最大的市場。白宮表示，預計到2016年來自於中國的遊客人數將比現在增長1倍以上。 ; W1 J! n) v: O* l) O

　　在美中旅遊協會會長龔林輝看來，6200美元這個數字顯然被低估了，美國的統計只算了中國遊客花在零售業上的錢，實際上若算上交通、酒店、餐館以及一些中國遊客臨時增加的自費項目，人均至少消費在8000美元。龔林輝透露，近年來中國來美旅遊人數呈逐年上升趨勢，其中2011年達到約115萬，2012年將突破130萬人次。(來源：中國經濟網)

Well, Mr. Obama, please look at the numbers.  1.15 million visitors and each spend $6000 to $8,000 dollars which means a economical transaction of US$80 billion dollars in 2011.  The number is expected to be skyrocketed in 2012 as well.  If you are trying to stop the growth of China, you are indirectly killing your own market !  Be smart and be courage to accept the fact that China is stepping up !
