汝來的Recron紡織廠是目前全球規模最大型的聚酯和紡織公司，也是全球500強企業，出產優質聚合物、聚酯樹脂、纖維、紗線及織物，是一項勞力密集型的企業。2 o$ e, Q6 o9 r  i0 R3 C/ ^
據一名汝來Recron紡織廠員工透露，該工廠約有4000名包括尼泊爾、越南、巴基斯坦及印尼的外勞，因不滿雇主未落實最低薪金製而參與集體罷工。公仔箱論壇% `/ H  q; i3 f/ |& X
他說，由於該工廠尚有逾2000名本地員工，因此工廠操作不受影響。至於本地員工沒參與外勞的罷工行動，反而會給予二個星期時間，讓廠方處理。
