On the last day of the 2007-08 season, in a win over the New Orleans Hornets, Jason Kidd became the third player in NBA history to record 100 triple-doubles.
Kidd played the first 68 games of his career without recording a triple-double. He then recorded four in the next 10. In 1025 career games, Kidd has recorded 100 triple-doubles, one every 10.3 games. He has recorded a triple-double in 14 consecutive seasons (each year he has been in the league), which is an NBA record, and against 28 of the 30 teams in the league. And don't think he has slowed down with age. The past four seasons have been four of his six biggest triple-double campaigns, he set a personal best with 12 in the 2006-07 season, and one-upped it a year later.
