I wonder if thing could be turned around, i.e. PRC would award a status to an African who live in China and let this honorable person to advise the PRC government on matters related to politics? % ^7 y" m# b8 B3 u$ J, r

You bet your boots, soldier!  Twenty years ago I traveled to Western Samoa, a small island nation in the South Pacific and I found Chinese restaurants there operated by Chinese mainlanders.  I chatted with them and they told me their ultimate goal was to move over to the American Samoa and then hopefully someday they could move to the mainland United States.
