[新聞] Is That You, NSX?

We enthusiasts have always secretly wished for another iteration of thefantastic Acura NSX supercar. But while Honda's new HSV-010 GT fitsthat bill, it's not for road-ready consumption. Instead, the HSV (whichstands for Honda Sports Velocity) will be competing in Japan's Super GTchampionship.

Power comes from a 3.4-liter V-8 with an estimated 500-plus horsepower,all of which is wrapped in a super hot carbon fiber shell. Look for theHSV-010 GT to make its official debut at the opening race of the SuperGT season, which stars on March 20-21 at the Suzuka Circuit.

Honda to compete in GT500 class of 2010 Super GT Series with HSV-010 GT

December 22, 2009―Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced today that itwill compete in the GT500 class of the 2010 Super GT Series (managedand run by GTA Co., Ltd.) with its HSV-010 GT.

The HSV-010 GT was developed exclusively for racing with the hope ofoffering thrills and dreams to fans through an unremitting focus onspeed-the starting point of all motorsports. The model conforms to the2010 GT500 Regulations, (including a 3.4-liter V8 engine and an FRlayout) issued by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), having earnedJAF-GT500 basic vehicle registration.
The HSV-010 GT is slated to debut at the Super GT season opener at the Suzuka Circuit, held on March 20–21 (Sat.–Sun.), 2010.
