Continuing its long-lasting loveaffair with special edition models, Volkswagen has announced the launchof the 'Black-Orange' series for the New Beetle hatch and convertible.Both body styles are available with either a black finish andcontrasting white stripes on the sides or an orange finish with blackstripes. The exterior package is complemented by a set of 17-inchfive-spoke alloy wheels.
There are no photos of the interior, but Volkswagen said that the specialedition New Beetles get a three-spoke leather steering wheel, aluminumpedals and sport seats with a unique design plus floor mats and gearleather trim with contrasting orange stitching.
The vehicle's standard equipment also includes air conditioning, an upgraded audio system, center armrest and electric windows.
TheNew Beetle 'Black Orange' models are available with several engineoptions with prices in Germany starting from €22,550 (around US$33,800)for the hatch with the 102HP
1.6-liter petrol engine. |
