The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. 公仔箱論壇& x0 Z; D% T9 j% m* B/ C8 d

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.

Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.
3 F7 ^: h8 i& Q7 L' UThen there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.
4 k) W v/ \9 R7 q& hThen we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb1 @9 ~, M' f o5 w/ ^2 ]# [
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.公仔箱論壇! P8 { s6 \; t" Y6 V8 _7 ^7 u3 P
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.5.39.217.766 ^. w, e, w: Y4 F0 y% @7 E
