　　英國報章報道，諾丁漢大學基因學專家布魯克菲爾德教授說，按照正常的基因轉變程序，動物在出生之後，體內的基因物質不會變化﹔因此，動物的基因如果要轉變，只有在胚始階段才有可能﹔換言之，如果雞是從某種鳥類演化而來的話，必定是在那隻鳥生下來的蛋產生基因變化而導致﹔按照這樣的推論，應該先有蛋。
