Germany head coach Joachim Low insists he will be taking Jens Lehmann to next summer's Euro 2008 finals.
Lehmann's future as Germany's No.1 has been subject to speculation over the last few months, following his exclusion from Arsenal's starting XI.
Manuel Almunia has emerged as Arsene Wenger's first-choice stopper, meaning Lehmann has had to settle for a place on the bench.
Low has previously warned the Gunners stopper that his lack of first-team action could cost him his place in the German side.
And while the Germany boss admits Lehmann's situation at Arsenal 'could be better', he says the 38-year-old remains a 'leading player' in his squad. |
