（檳城‧大山腳）竊賊到空置組屋偷電線時被居民發現，謊稱本身是裝修承包商，企圖瞞天過海。他因現場電線有被拆除的痕跡而被揭發，老羞成怒下亮刀威脅居民，結果被一名學過自衛術的居民制伏。

/ C  k" [3 K  {; a 這起事件於週二（4月20日）下午5時許，在大山腳英雄城組屋區發生。竊賊在形跡敗露後，謊稱自己是裝修承包商。眼尖的居民發現屋內的電線有被拆除的痕跡，於是繼續盤問，不料對方卻出示利器恐嚇居民，但最終被一名學過自衛術的居民制伏。

大家也召來峇冬丁宜自願消拯隊巡邏隊到場。據悉，此組屋區有不少空置單位，因此成了竊賊的目標。發展商曾在電線被偷後重新裝上，不料再引來竊賊覬覦。峇冬丁宜自願消拯隊隊長吳年明說，此隊接到通知後立即到現場援助，並召來警方將竊賊押返警局。他們也在現場起獲竊賊的幹案工具，包括鉗子、螺絲刀及鐵剪等。

Although is an heroic act by the guy to face the thieve bear handed and very lucky that he does not get hurt, but what is the other round happen?
& z& b( _" x! J% _# ]7 ntvb now,tvbnow,bttvbIf the thieve manage to dodge his attack and put a knife into his body, then the paper is no longer reporting a heroic story, but another tragic story where a man try to made a heroic move but fail to do so.
7 @% i: Y( ]6 z: m; q6 V: HSo, is better just to report to the police and let them do the work. What the people can do is that maybe snap a photo of the suspect and pass it to the police for further investigation. Although it may take time, but it is better than to risk on their own life.
