「快了，真的快了。」紐約尼克前鋒Amar'e Stoudemire今(13)日正式和女友Alexis Welch結為連理，但他說的不是懷孕，而是他即將重返NBA戰場。
人逢喜事精神爽，紐約《每日新聞》透露Stoudemire已在家中舉行祕密婚禮，與愛情長跑10年的Welch正式結婚，加上距離膝傷痊癒時間越來越近，他已迫不及待想上場貢獻所長。
不過總教練Mike Woodson不急著讓他上場，他說：「現在是他重返球場很重要的時刻，我們尊重他的意願，不會勉強他做甚麼訓練，一切按著復健步驟來。」
目前尼克戰績16勝5敗，主場是完美的8戰全勝，暫居東區龍頭，問題是，Stoudemire回歸後的影響是正面或是負面？《華爾街日報》認為尼克也為了這件事情煩心，深怕他破壞球隊化學效應、又不想將年薪逼近兩千萬美元的巨星邊緣化。
美媒擔憂其來有自，自從「甜瓜」Carmelo Anthony於2011年2月加盟尼克以來，兩位巨星同時上場的戰績是30勝33敗，而Stoudemire缺陣、Anthony主政的比賽是28勝10敗，面對種種質疑，中鋒Tyson Chandler當然充滿義氣地說：「Amar'e回來後，我們有更多擋拆後的投籃選擇，他依然是我們很重要的一份子。」

Looks like it's gonna be the case. Carmelo's gonna have to share the ball with A'mare which is going to be exactly like the previous season when J. Lin was doing well then Melo came back and ruin things for the team. Lets hope A'mare is going to be more mature and take the high road in this conflict coz Carmelo is playing some fantastic basketball now, and the Knicks are soaring upward. I'd like to see the knicks go deep into the playoff this season, hopefully having an exciting series with the Heat at the Conf Final.
