Despite dropping back to 12th place in the weekend’s first race, Huff managed to claw his way back to seventh, despite dropping back from the ensuing battle between James Thompson, and the BMW pairing of Tom Coronel and Medhi Bennani on lap 13.

However, the battle between the Honda of Tiago Monteiro and the Chevrolet of Pepe Oriola, allowed Huff to take advantage of those ahead of him, and progress through the field.

Despite his best efforts going into Turn 1, Huff was unable to pass the BMW man and eventually had to settle for eighth behind the BMW man come the end of the race.- c& T7 M. N- F, b/ v+ x  c- Q

“It was a pretty average weekend in terms of the results, although that just shows how high we set the bar earlier this season,” said Huff. “Racing at Suzuka can be quite frustrating if you’re stuck behind a train of cars, especially if you believe you have more speed underneath you [as] it’s just so difficult to overtake here.
