Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has asked to be rested and will not play Czech Republic’s next Euro 2008 qualifier.
The skilful player returned from injury and impressed again for The Gunners in The Premier League.

He helped his country to qualify for the premier European competition at the weekend and asked manager Karel Bruckner to return to London to rest.

The captain has been allowed not to play the last match of Group D, which is going to be friendly-like against Cyprus.

The former Borussia Dortmund star has suffered a number of injuries this season, and will return to his parent club Arsenal to prepare for their next clash against strugglers Wigan.
