malaysia chinese only speak malay to Malay person or Indian. even we speak malay to chinese friends, usually is 1-2 sentences only. exp: i want to go 'jamban' = 我要去厕所，where is your 'kampung'?= 你是哪里'乡下'? 等 ^^

馬來西亞是少數除了中、台、港、奧以外有到大學程度的華文教育tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb. H, I: N( L. V& Z
所以當地的人都普用民族方言或中文溝通
  e& {0 O! D- A% G: }: Z沒受過華文教育的華人都會用英語溝通，極少是用馬來語# }# V' }' K6 U0 n6 s

在港澳的人會叫“馬來西亞”為“馬來”，所以名正言順變成“馬來人”了- u! j) N/ d& T: H* g% s
他們不可能知道馬來人是一種民族不過在他們眼中的馬來人是指馬來西亞人
