i only have 3 full days in taipei, taichung half a day, the rest travelling time. Almost all the famous landmarks had visited, too many shopping places and night markets haven't got the time to g ...

depends on what you want to see.  should spend more time in taichung because it's less crowd than taipei.  一中商圈, 草x道 and 逢甲夜市 are the places you need to go.
