MALAYSIA and Singapore are exploring a slew of cross-border initiatives, including the construction of an undersea tunnel linking Johor Baru and Singapore. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his Singapore counterpart, Lee Hsien Loong, who met at the Malaysia-Singapore Leaders’ Retreat here, also agreed to explore other areas for future collaboration, further warming economic and trade relations between the two countries.

        The leaders also discussed cooperation in higher education, technical and vocational education, and the teaching and learning of the English language.

            Pulau Indah,  meanwhile, a 50:50 joint venture between Khazanah and Temasek, will develop the "Urban Wellness" project on a 2.02ha site in Medini North.  It will also develop the 85.5ha "Resort Wellness" project in Medini Central.
