The bamboo pier dustless, the canal pavillion clean 0 Y  [- @/ `3 S0 f# ^! p/ t
But my thoughts linger across layers of city walls

That's the difficult part about studlying chinese poems.  They described everything in 7 little words.  And most of them made these peoms in blink of eyes (get the impression from the movies?) The most famaous is this guy (sorry forgot the name) made something in 7 footsteps.
