BEIJING - A Chinese mountaineering team tookthe Olympic flame to the top of the world Thursday, a spectacular featdreamed up to underscore China’s ambitions for the Beijing games.
+ M5 I( y0 h* e9 f5.39.217.76Theclimbers could be heard struggling for breath in a live televisionbroadcast as five torchbearers each shuffled a few feet before passingon the flame to the next person. A colorful Tibetan prayer flag linedthe path and fluttered in the wind.
