阿瑟·温格准备向阿德巴约询问这个赛季他是否有转会曼联的机会。



周五早上的报纸引用阿森纳前锋的话说他已经接到邀请在赛季结束后从埃米尔转会到老特拉福德，23岁的前锋在他的阿森纳阵中是至关重要的环节，这对温格来说是条新闻。

“我十分吃惊”他说，“我首先想向他确认这是不是真的”.

“如果那不是阿德巴约说的，我想那是他经纪人说的，他目前有约在身，曼联也从来没接近过我，不管怎样，他已经和阿森纳续约了”

Wenger - I'll ask Adebayor about move story 3 Nov 2007

Arsène Wenger intends to ask striker Emmanuel Adebayor if he had the chance to join Manchester United this summer.

Friday morning’s newspapers carried quotes from the Arsenal frontman saying he had been offered the option to quit Emirates Stadium for Old Trafford during the close season. It was news to Wenger as the 23-year-old is a crucial cog in his Arsenal machine.



"I'm completely surprised,” he said. “And I would first like to check with him it's true.

“If it's not Adebayor then I think it's his agent. He had a contract at that time as well and I have never been approached by Manchester United. [Anyway] he has extended his contract here since then."
