Actually I work 40 hours a week. Sometimes more sometimes less. I have no contract.

You should come sooner!  Visit Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal since you are spending money anyway.
Today's rate...  CAD$1=USD$0.74 or CAD$1.35=USD$1

I remember the rate was close to CA ...
