i believe TVB always makes the shows tailored to the middle-aged housewives... maybe every now and then there would be a few good surprises.  The historic shows are horrible, the clothes look the same regardless of which era / dynasty.  Characters' behaviors and lines are modern....tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb% k. r5 I) g: d5 h
