That gave rise to a debate on the role of the CPU, and of the activities of member Sophia Kao, who apparently needs to vet up to 3,000 individuals on advisory committees for the government. We also look at the  ongoing saga over free-to-air TV licences. The government is dragging its feet as new players are eager to enter the market. And naturally, TVB and ATV are not welcoming competition.
