That's a very tricky one, I put it there just for fun.  It is actually an old gum tree that died.  In most of the botanical garden here, there is a resident artist, they made  sculptures using dead trees, and this one was sealed and varnished.

No, not really.  None of them are tropical plants.  They belong to the temperate zone.   ... I don't want to give away too much though.

3 T$ w3 u' I% J) q& NWell, this one is Agavea Marginata, grows real easily. Just need a sunny spot, can become huge one though, used a lot for rockery landscaping here.
