戴卓爾夫人的葬禮儀式，在倫敦當地時間 17日上午9點舉行，靈柩用英國國旗覆蓋，移離國會西敏寺，前往倫敦市中心，皇家空軍的丹麥聖紀文教堂。靈柩之後轉移到皇家炮兵部隊砲架車上，再由三軍儀仗隊護送到聖保羅大教堂舉行禮葬。靈柩移送時，沿途有大批民眾拍掌作最後致意。
