為了保護遭親母虐待的女學生，挺身而出擔任代理母親並帶著該學生從北海道前去東京，
經歷她們人生中各種挑戰的懸疑故事。' t  M4 b8 z3 O

去年秋天，腳本家坂元裕二(東京愛情故事)開始規劃這個以`母性`為主軸的企劃案，
希望製作出故事性與主題性並重且富有內涵的電視劇。在創作時，  t/ E' i) D& \/ D* e# }7 i
女主角是除了松雪泰子之外不做他想的設定，在與松雪熱烈討論演出時終於實現合作的夢想。
