喜马拉雅山是我国最大的山脉。“喜马拉雅”，是梵文的译音，意为雪之家。喜马拉雅山东西长约2400公里，南北宽约200-300公里，平均海拔高度为6000米以上，山势高峻林立，高峰雄伟，超过7000米的山峰有50多座，海拔8000米以上的高峰有11座。

在很久以前喜马拉雅山是古地中海的一部分，距今约3000万年左右，地槽底部爆发了一场剧烈的、著名的喜马拉雅地壳运动，使得久远沦沉在大海之中的喜马拉雅逐步上升，成为今日的“地球的第三极”。在冈底斯山与喜马拉雅山之间，扎达土林像一条巨龙沉睡在象泉河流域。据科学家考证，扎达远古是一片汪洋，蓝天之下只有水和风，是喜马拉雅造山运动使沧海变成湖泊、湖泊形成了土林。来到这里的人们，无不惊叹大自然的鬼斧神工，如此气势磅礴的地貌，让人大开眼界，心潮澎湃！5.39.217.76: g. e8 B% l8 t) d; W8 i; ]: @, s1 A( e

Seems like nobody living there. I believe that someone should be living there. I may not be able to stay there too long, as the high land with thin air. However, it is nice area.

Beautiful mountainous landscape, but it real solitude! too bad,not suitable for human, animals may be ok.
