I just helped my fren bought a new Desktop PC, everythings work fine, but only when plug in his speaker, then it dun have sound, drivers all ok, and work and have sound with headphone, and also that speaker works on laptop, anybody know why?

Driver setting no prob, its works fine with headphone, and the speaker no problem

hai, do u mean the speaker cant work at new PC but can work at other PC? then this might be very suck

. The most possible problem you face now is software problem

sotfware problem got many type, i guess you update the window and also the sound card software,(if sound card is inside motherboard then find out the motherboard name, series, and download the latest software, and i also wan you to download the latest bios,if you not sure download all the software, just same as motherboard CD).

if you still cannot solve the problem, then maybe is hardware problem.

New PC with hardware problem, sounds impossible right?

i can tell you, it possible, hardware problem most properly is coz by power supplied problem, or the plug in problem. send back to the computer shop and ask them for help because got warranty

you try to plug on other pc to see 1st
! got same problem or not !

try setting in sound setting if u in vista
try the output
cos maybe u have set somrthing there
if still cant try uninstall the driver of the sound card
switch off ur pc(not restart)
then on again only u reinstall the driver
if also cant work
u just bought the unit right send it to warrenty...
