由於ufc.nba仍然不太穩定，實際上; 甚至可以說系統沒有完全運行，本賽季已經開始在第3週，因此，我們要宣布如下：

1 。遊戲繼續進行

2 。獎金將改為：只設獎金(ufc.nba最終統計)

亞軍：TVB2,000,000 元
季軍：TVB1,000,000 元

We needed to follow the NBA official Season schedule.

Your scores are based on... the NBA Players in your team,

for example, you having Kobe in your team.

Kobe scores 30 points (15 out of 15 shoots

) , 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block shot, 3 turnovers,

the points you got to get will be

30 points x 0.5 = 15
15 x 0.54 (field goal made) = 8.1
5 rebounds x 1.5 = 7.5
6 assists x 2 = 12
1 steal x 3 = 3
1 block x 3 = 3
3 turnovers x - 2 = -6

total = 15 + 8.1 + 7.5 + 12 + 3 + 3 - 6 = 42.6

After the game started, you can check the scoreboard.
You also can view others lineup while you setting your.

I think nothing we need to do while draft taking... system does it automatically. maybe we can check after 10pm see it done or not.

we can trade & sign free agents after the draft or anytime in the season.

but 1 thing is... the player had waived from any owners , wont became free agents after 2 days.

in my understanding..

the draft is 15 rounds, so the ufc.nba probably assume you to do 15 - 20 players in your pre-draft ranking.

I did about 16, the rest .. let me system does for me.

You don't have to do your own ranking for all NBA players...

Reminder.. the draft time will be 10/18 7pm US PDT time, which will be 10AM 10/19 HK time.

for all owners.

You can adjust your rosters after the draft today, which you can sign free agent by waiving the rosters you don't want from draft.

I am going to give the system till 21st, Tuesday,

I am do the draft manually if rosters still not populated out in ufc.nba.

Which I am going to do by the Default Draft Ranking for all owners on the 22nd (US TIME)

so this way, at least give all owners 6-7 days to do some trades or leaning how to do the lineup before the season starts 10/28.

manual draft, you mean live draft? If that is the case, and we still have 3 more days, why you we opening a vote post and try to get a time that could fit to "most" of us and do a REAL live draft???? For the people that can't come they will still able to get their player from their default ranking

Yeah, it's another great idea, but.. it will be very tough to do the "live" draft for all 20 owners at the same thing & we are not in the same time zone, don't wanna some owners complaint about unfair draft if they unable to attend the live draft, & I knowing few owners in Asia, & few in America, how we do live draft?

I meant by I will draft the players for all owners based on the default draft ranking & following our original draft order.

hopefully the system, ufc.nba will be populated the rosters soon.

This is the first time I am using auto-draft, don't know why it takes too long on drafting players

All i can tell is that the game admin doesn't give a damn about the game, you can see some status of the players are yet updated (e.g Mo Williams still in Bucks, Ron Artest still in Kings), not to mention the crappy pre-rank system and the completely misleading default ranking (Agent Zero on 7th!?, Monta Ellis on 32th!?).

Yahoo has been clearly doing a much much better job in terms of their Fantasy NBA administration (http://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/nba).
They once had serious flaws (such as players' points disappeared for few match days in the point-based league i took part in) 2 or 3 seasons ago (cant remember when), but they reacted quickly and patched the game within days. The pre-rank system works exactly what it does at players' ease. The default ranking is better aligned with the objective observations thus represents the effectiveness of players more appropriately in the upcoming season (Agent Zero on 110th and Monta Ellis on 131th as a result of future uncertainty due to serious injury).

My proposal is that we transfer from NBA.com to Yahoo. Huge task? Yes. More pleasant gaming experience? Can't guarantee but very optimistic according to the history.

Nonetheless, I am for the move of using the current default ranking for the possible manual draft if we had to stick to this game. I understand some aren't happy with the default ranking (myself included) but i think it will be too difficult for the game's founder to manually draft each team based on multiple rankings.

P.S. I didn't play much fantasy sport games in websites other than Yahoo. Though I did play Pick-one Challenge last season on NBA.com and it was an overall pleasant experience.

fren, why not you create the nba yahoo so that we can play also. If you ready, then just set the draft date to this coming Sunday (26 Nov). No reward also no problem, we can play for fun. Cheers!

Totally Agreed, maybe we give up this ufc.nba to Yahoo, I don't mind either, I just wanna play.

I only played once with ufc.nba last year, which only 5 owners, we did offline draft.

then, you will see the big tabs, League My Team Players, etc....
click on League ->Draft Central....then, you can see "My Pre-Draft Ranking"

YES, if you want to have a draft ranking instead of, or as a supplement of, the the default one. But for yahoo you can select and move multiple players at the same time which means the process will be a lot easier and quicker.

Actually the league settings (especially for draft setting and roster setting) are yet fixed so feel free to say what you think.

btw, as i want to let the ones playing ufc.nba join first, i'll create another thread outside later.

To all NBA Fantasy owner and JN, i think player should send you PM instead to post ranking on this post, otherwise owner will able to see other owner ranking before they select their pick. just want to make sure we have a fair game here.

As of current draft setting, the league will use "autopick" (similar to offline draft i believe) which means when I change the draft status to ready, the draft will subsequently take place within 72 hours. In other words, the draft can take place anytime.

Chem, we need to have time for autodraft and also need few days for us to trade player before the game start. Please come out the registration deadline and the draft date.
NBA game will start soon after 2 weeks, hope that no similar problem happens again.

I also agree to play both, no rewards no problem, I only wanna play the game with people here. Cheers!

I went through the ufc.nba forum & read lots posts, seems the ufc.nba having problem on all kind of draft recently 2 weeks, some of luckily succeed the draft, some of them still unable to, which us.

Here is respond from ufc.nba support team, at the same time please prepare your draft ranking, then provide me a copy, if still unable to populate out tomorrow, I am going to do the offline draft on 10/24 US TIME. & I am going to send them another email later today to push them again.

btw, some owners suggest to do LIVE draft on following time,

Please post if you able to do the LIVE draft or not.

Let's go for PLAN C, we do the OFFLINE DRAFT, which I am going to do the draft for everyone, if the ufc.nba system still can not populated the rosters by tomorrow. 10/21 US TIME.

FOR ALL OWNERS, PLEASE PM ME OR POST HERE YOUR PRE-DRAFT RANKING by 10/23 US TIME. (I can not access to your pre-draft ranking in ufc.nba, I having same function as you beside about the setting of the league),

Then I am going to do the OFFLINE DRAFT for every owner, which I am going to draft by YOUR PRE-DRAFT RANKING FIRST, then by the system DEFAULT ranking. So I will go by DEFAULT Ranking for the owner if you don't provide me your draft ranking within 10/23 US Time.

there are transaction function out there soon, due to the transaction status will show on the ufc homepage if there is any trades going, while I played last year.

I knew plp going to complain about the manually Draft. due to we only had 5 players last year, still had this problem, I was not the commissioner last time.

That was why set for Auto draft b4, but it didn't work, damn.

& you guys doesn't like go by the default ranking for all owners.

Maybe we do another draft . by go by the system default ranking. I don't mind, but I don't wanna spend another 4 hr time & got complaint again.

I just wanna play.

but we having 20 teams, each having 15 players, everyone wont able to have all good 15 players.

JackyNelson, If you are sure that you have completed the draft according to the draft order and all the rankings, you just have to show us all the managers' pre-rank and everyone would then have a clear view on how the draft was completed and how some certain players landed on their team.

After all, every team got to have bad players. This is very much expected as we drafted 300 players. If this is the only point of the complaints, i would say the complaints are plain irrational.

The league draft result were in post# 6 in this thread. also can view from the ufc.nba home page as well.

Here is the 5 list I got from 5 owners, except you & TS, other 3 having like 30 - 40 players, after round 2, most of rosters from their list are gone.

Opinion 1.
We go by the System Default Draft Ranking for all owners. believed we can re-set the draft & do it again.
(at least 10 out of 20 owners agreed)

Opinion 2, we keeping play, my points won't care in Here, but I still playing in ufc.nba.
at least,Only 2 out 20 owners agreed.

I am not try to won or getting anything here, just wanna setup a game for NBA fans.

Very hard to do it in ufc.nba, ufc.nba is not good as last year I played first time,

btw, I got about 9 owners feedback till now, only 1 (+ 1 more( you)) want to do the re-draft.

I didn't ask for re-draft but i am not opposed to it. Actually we can switch to yahoo altogether and abandon this game completely. We use all the same rules (scoring,rosters etc.), but start counting points one week later. But it will be difficult to obtain agreement of every managers in this limited time.

Working out the accumulative weekly stats for each team (based on the league setting) and then calculate the point each team gets in that week (based on Yahoo formula), how this sounds?

I am not sure how Yahoo status, never played with Yahoo, as I played ufc.nba last year, it has weekly report/standing, guess the weekly Roto based, should the weekly result/standing??

Does Yahoo having weekly standing post out in the league??

I don't know too much about Yahoo's, you are boss there, let's see how & what first week comes out with, I am only provide the $$
