香港有很多本土製作的「正嘢」被稱之為「本地薑」，而其中一種正是音樂。音樂人每分每刻都希望藉著自己的歌曲，將生活點滴、人生意義、經歷及價值觀等訊息傳遞。節目會邀請不同音樂單位演奏他們的歌曲外，更會與主持訪談，分享他們的經歷，藉此帶出音樂對他們的影響
