really sad that canada is having these fires burn so many hectares of the beautiful forest.... just hope that the fires will subside soon and that there will be rain to aid those firefighters....

Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau announced the federal government will match individual donations made to the Canadian Red Cross to help those affected by the raging wildfire in Fort McMurray, Alta., as federal leaders set their partisan differences aside to express their support for Albertans in the House of Commons.

The continuing disaster forced Alberta to call a state of emergency on Wednesday after more than 88,000 people were forced out of their homes in and around Fort McMurray, sending evacuees to surrounding communities for shelter.

一場不願看到的大型山火發生在加國,它不但燒毀了許多房屋,還做成生命傷亡,聞者極為惋惜。但望上天能早降甘霖,救救大自然,並使居民能早日恢復正常生活,也使生態能夠回復原先的正常狀態。在此誠心誠意送上祝福!

亞省東北部山火情況依然嚴峻，其中麥梅利堡(Fort McMurray)山火的火場面積，擴大至逾52.2萬公頃，增加了近2萬公頃。

儘管天氣稍為清涼，但是亞省山火資訊官員斯圖爾特(Laura Stewart)表示，麥梅利堡山火仍未受控制，截至星期日下午3時，估計山火焚燒面積達到522,894公頃，較上周六下午的504,443公頃，增加了18,451公頃，而當中741公頃是越過了邊境，波及沙省。

9成建築物供電天然氣恢復6 q; C7 {: D: s& i3 `" R/ J

此外，亞省當局星期日表示，在工作人員日以繼夜的搶修下，該省能源及公用事業公司ATCATCO，已為麥梅利堡大約90%未受損建築物恢復天然氣供應，而該市超過九成的電力也已經恢復。( ^& U! I6 w7 f k2 _4 ?( k

還有，木水牛市(RegionalMunicpality of Wood Buffalo)上周六公布，已為山火災民自願重返家園計劃，暫訂出分階段時間表，共分為4個區域，其中「區域一」的災民，返回家園的日期訂為6月1日。

It is a disaster. The fire not only destroy the environment, it also destroy many people's home. The forest can be rebuilt. But, it cannot be rebuilt within years. The home and menories of the people living there shall be extinguished.
