1954年普雷斯利錄制第壹張商業唱片。1956年並出演電影《溫柔地愛我》。[3] 1957年專緝《Teddy Bear》在英國上市。[4] 1961年專輯《Are You Lonesome Tonight》發行。[5] 1963年主演電影《獵艷情歌》。[6] 1965年主演歌舞片《天堂夏威夷》。[7] 1967年主演歌舞片《禍不單行》。1969年他8年來第壹次在內華達州賭城拉斯維加斯國際飯店舉辦現場演唱會。1973年1月14日在夏威夷舉行了全球首場衛星直播的演唱會。1976年9月4日專輯《The Gril Of My Best Friend》、《Suspicion》兩張專輯同時再次出版。
