故事大綱：
追尋快樂與財富，是現代人普遍的夢想，然而，兩者是否有必然關係？是否等同？近三十年的經濟進步，使大部份中國人不用再捱窮捱餓，甚至一夜致富，腰纒萬貫，很多人都有種吐氣揚眉的感覺！可是，有了財富，是否代表什麼問題都迎刃而解？能夠擺脫貧窮，是否代表能夠擺脫過去？物質富足，是否代表心靈沒有匱乏？
過去十五年，香港這不中不西矛盾重重的地方，要跟一個更矛盾重重的大國融合，那個窮慣、自卑慣的大國，忽然擁有大量的財富和力量，於是急於要得到世人注視和認可，焦急自大起來，香港人面對如此光景，可以如何是好？
吊詭是，香港人自詡國際視野，何嘗不是坐井觀天，五十步笑百步，在取笑中國的浮誇與不公之餘，我們坦白自省，又何嘗不是虛榮、自戀？每天患得患失？說穿了，我們只不過是逃避現實，香港不過是南中國一隅的城市？在中國地圖上佔小小一點而已。
本劇借一對親生姊妹的重逢聚首，恩怨是非，道出三十年來中國和香港關係之微妙變化，血濃如水，不認不認還須認，在大國雄起之秋，香港人如何自處，你來生還要不要做香港人？抑或將來已不再有香港人、中國人之分？眼前社會的糾結問題，又是否可以用金錢解決？抑或是，有一天，才赫然發現香港「窮得只剩下錢」，最後，在中港融合的大勢下，香港人所保守的核心價值還有多少？

香港人所保守的核心價值還有多少？ nothing, only money money money.... clean money, dirty money, blood money, just money.... I don't understand the concept in this series, why a immigrant tell about 核心價值, not native HKers?
