《寵物大本營》的明星狗大介，2006年起繼任父親雅夫的任務，擔任節目第二代旅犬，跟主持人松本秀樹到日本各地，四處訪問不同的寵物及動物，足跡不止於日本名勝與景點，更曾到訪台灣和美國。大介貪吃調皮，見女生就撲過去，見食物就衝上去的熱情活潑個性，令人留下深刻印象，深受觀眾喜愛。可惜，2011年 11 月，大介在拍攝節目途中不幸因病逝世，令大家感到十分惋惜。新一輯《寵物大本營》，將由大介的兄弟姐妹承接大介的使命，繼續展開另一趟旅程。
