( o7 |; H" O! W1 IEnglish translation of the original 公仔箱論壇: q+ y3 q9 A% m& X/ Q9 b3 a$ Q
The original song was written in 1933 by two Hungarians, Rezso Seress (music) % b4 r; V) {, y1 g
and Laszlo Javor (lyrics), and consisted of the first two stanza 公仔箱論壇0 J4 j0 k, D) \
only -- the last stanza was added later, also first in Hungarian,

Actually, the second part of the song in Hungarian is not so reassuring at all.
* ?4 H( |) b; {) eIt is if at all possible, much gloomier than the first two stanzas, almost apocalyptic.
) G3 r2 V1 f: Z8 s8 g0 }! e% ]: JIt looks like the pessimism of the song was too much for the translators and they made their translation a happier one.
* j4 N8 I0 m8 f! Z0 rIn that case one might argue that the translator has done a bad job

a translator may also be more than just a translator and based on the original create a new song.
, K+ E( I0 H5 y2 @Perhaps the Sam Lewis mentioned in the credits is responsible for this. 公仔箱論壇5 b: ^! N$ \3 ?. w+ [2 q. Z

6 f8 o8 d0 e* T; C8 q7 kTVBNOW 含有熱門話題,最新最快電視,軟體,遊戲,電影,動漫及日常生活及興趣交流等資訊。I like this song very much! It is a little jazzy, and Sarah's singing and the music create the right mood for the song.
9 M( O5 ~) L; \2 l2 I( fOne thing is very strange, though. The mood changes between the second and the third stanza, ! E; t- V$ v' x0 d% K5 ]! `6 d
because she wakes up and realises that the gloomy first two stanzas were nothing but a dream and the third stanza is then more chearful.
  J4 J3 E7 h9 v$ G, q; {This change of mood is strangely rather abrupt: TVBNOW 含有熱門話題,最新最快電視,軟體,遊戲,電影,動漫及日常生活及興趣交流等資訊。& ~4 o$ V7 W4 {  R
the pause is less than a second -- Sarah has barely enough time to catch her breath.

% D9 n1 T3 y5 o8 W1 X/ Etvb now,tvbnow,bttvbHazan suggested that the last stanza could still be part of the dream: the singer has lost her lover, 公仔箱論壇, \$ i( M$ ^6 E$ d2 g& |& w9 u
