English translation of the original
  [0 X( I! K8 l- Stvb now,tvbnow,bttvbThe original song was written in 1933 by two Hungarians, Rezso Seress (music) ( n) a; V$ p' h9 Y

It looks like the pessimism of the song was too much for the translators and they made their translation a happier one. " l3 a, V* a; N* p9 [! M' `2 N

( }* ~+ I3 o* X% T3 g. b6 w; gSomeone said that:公仔箱論壇) ]! C0 V" D4 D  Z0 t3 _% ~' Q
I like this song very much! It is a little jazzy, and Sarah's singing and the music create the right mood for the song.
$ K9 K) j) C5 F% M. _# H$ q- w5.39.217.76One thing is very strange, though. The mood changes between the second and the third stanza, . G) Q3 i. j5 [$ w" R2 O1 i. B
because she wakes up and realises that the gloomy first two stanzas were nothing but a dream and the third stanza is then more chearful. 5.39.217.76, V2 k9 I! L$ a( p% `0 L
This change of mood is strangely rather abrupt:
/ z9 m& U( ~6 g8 y' e" vthe pause is less than a second -- Sarah has barely enough time to catch her breath.
3 ]) \* J" {: j! I" U8 w+ NI would have expected the change in mood between stanzas two and three to be build up a little more gradually,
9 E# l0 Y6 E  j! ctvb now,tvbnow,bttvbin five to ten seconds or so. After all, waking up and realising that it was a dream takes time.
' B( w: s% ?( U" u; U; ], MHazan suggested that the last stanza could still be part of the dream: the singer has lost her lover,
" N) m) ]; q$ N5.39.217.76continues her mourning in her dream, and as a reaction to the pain wishes it was all but a dream:

I do not think this is what is meant here. The change of mood, the use of the words
