　　原作是宮尾登美子的《天璋院篤姬》。主人公是江戶幕府第十三代將軍德川家定的正室天璋院（篤姬）。這是2006年的『功名十字路』相隔兩年後，歷史上第七部以女性為主角的大河劇。

　　主演的宮崎葵是初次主演大河劇，同時也是大河劇歷史上最年輕的大河劇演員。一般演員都是出演晚間日劇出道的，而宮崎葵是出演晨間連續劇出道的，以這樣的身份來出演大河劇在NHK歷史上也屬首次。

8 v* }0 R: z; e0 c4 Z公仔箱論壇　　天璋院（てんしょういん·島津篤子→近衛敬子、天保6年12月19日（1836年2月5日）——明治16年（1883年）11月20日）篤姬（あつひめ）是江戶時代後期到明治時代的女性，是江戶幕府13代將軍德川家定的御台所（正室、繼室）。實父是薩摩國（鹿兒島縣）藩主島津家的一門·今和泉領主島津忠剛。幼名是一（かつ）。作了島津齋彬的養女時改名為篤子（あつこ），作了近衛忠熙的養女時改名為敬子（すみこ）。

　　安政3年（1856年），篤姬成為了右大臣近衛忠熙的養女，這一年的11月作為家定的正室進入了大奧。但是，安政5年（1858年）7月齋彬突然死亡，8月家定也離開了人世，14代將軍由德川家茂就任，篤子沒有能完成使命。家定死後篤子剃髮，以後自稱為「天璋院」。

　　根據勝海舟等人的描述，天璋院對自己一手扶植並確立的將軍候補德川慶喜的關係十分險惡。慶應2年（1866年） 針對慶喜的大奧改革，天璋院與在德川家茂死去之後號稱「靜寬院宮」的和宮一起進行了抵制。另一方面，慶應3年（1867年）由於慶喜對朝廷進行「大政奉還」的直接後果也就是從江戶幕府解散到江戶城無血開成的整個過程中，為了營救德川家和慶喜全力對自己的娘家島津家做工作，同時和宮全力做了朝廷的工作。
0 x, \0 j$ r, G1 g, a- M6 S; N; l, V- S　　晚年的天璋院為了教育德川宗家的16代即田安龜之助瀝盡心血。明治時代通過德川家的經濟援助過活至明治16年（1883）年於東京的一橋邸去世，享年48歲。其後在東京都台東區上野的寬永寺與其夫家定並墓而葬。天璋院把自身的財產全部用於原大奧下級們的就業和婚姻並為此而奔走。由於錢財都用於接濟，據說去世的時候其手邊只有3日元（折合當今6萬元）。5.39.217.760 i- R% p, W. m' b" X
