(Fountain Paint Pots )噴泉漆罐也許是最有名的黃石泥盆。早期泥盆可能更豐富多彩。因厚矽華溶解，他們撲通一聲，猶如烹飪燕麥。 泥土顏色是天然白色，但鐵氧化物令泥泉帶粉紅色，橙色和紅色。

Fountain Paint Pot, the steaming bubbling pit of glaring white mud looks so wonderful and amazing. Different season has the different characteristic, from watery thin to dense thick. Wish I can go there to see one more time.

The differing colors are derived from oxidation states of the iron in the mud.[3] As with all hot springs, the heat in the caldera forces pressurized water up through the ground, which is expelled here. Also, rising gasses cause the bubbling action. The bubble action in the mud varies with the seasons. In the early summer, the mud is watery from the high water table due to rain and snow melt. By the end of summer, the mud is much thicker as the water table drops.[4]
