Nearly 60 illegal immigrants - including refugees escaping the violence in war-torn Syria - drowned when a boat carrying them towards Europe sank off the coast of Turkey.- p, k9 i( W. c1 l. f8 T- z

A team of divers have mounted a desperate search for survivors in the water.
