「峇峇娘惹」是指华人与南洋人结合的下一代的通称，同时也有说法是受马来文化薰陶的华人贵族后裔。据说，明朝时期当初移民马六甲的华人多为男士，因此多有与当地人通婚，「峇峇」和「娘惹」即通婚后生下的男性和女性后代。几乎百分之九十的「娘惹」都很会煮菜而且很好吃（这也是他们的传统）。公仔箱論壇+ L! L' Y, T+ B$ p1 j

~ overall the food is nice because I love Nyonya-Baba food (at Malacca they also call it Restaurant Peranakan) # e1 A3 x, i! |& ]/ F itvb now,tvbnow,bttvb~ The Nyonya Curry is one of my favorite because it uses a lot of aromatic spices, curry leaves and creamy coconut milk. 7 g- u" M3 Q% E) i6 V# B~ remember must try the Nyonya Cendol with Gula Melaka ... taste great. - ~% J4 }; T% t; T 9 ?0 D" V+ u' J0 D Ttvb now,tvbnow,bttvbNotes: If time allow, they is a few Peranakan Restaurant around here ... pay a visit there and try it out ...
