Manuka Honey is found mostly in New Zealand Australia. Many local New Zealanders have accepted as common wisdom: our local manuka honey is a superior treatment for wound infections. The anti-bacteria characteristics is because of the enzyme glucose oxidase in honey. They can slow down the activities of bacteria and eventually killed them. This is a good to know common knowledge.
